While there are general rules that every classroom has, there are other rules to help keep everyone safe and make the classroom run smoothly. This information will also be sent home in a Parent Letter for each class, and students and parents will be asked to sign and return a slip stating the rules, grading policy, etc. have been read and gone over. Below are my classroom rules:
In addition, two school wide behavior initiatives, CHAMPS and Capturing Kids Hearts, will be used to promote positive behavior in the classroom. Finally, I will be having a class meeting at least once a week. The purpose for doing class meetings are several; including building student to student relationships, teacher to student relationships, communicating school news and information, and solving problems that arise as a class.

- Come prepared to class daily (work, books, pen/pencil, etc.)
- Follow directions the first time they are given
- Keep hands, feet and other objects to self
- Use all materials and equipment for its intend use only
- Respect school, teacher, and other student property by asking before touching/taking
- Use computer stations and iPads for school purposes only
- If you need help, ask!
